GILLE, Elizabeth J. age 88 of Fairfield, Ohio died Saturday, March 13, 2010 at Hospice of Hamilton. She was born in Homer, Illinois on March 19, 1921 the daughter of Elmer and Hazel (Klingelhoffer) Green. On April 1, 1943 she married Gerald G. Gille and he preceded her in death on July 7, 2000. Mrs. Gille had worked as an Avon representative for several years. A member of Sacred Heart Church, she also had been active in the Springfield, Ohio Ex-P.O.W. Association.

Survivors include four children, Dr. Gerald "Garry" (Christine) Gille, of Fairfield, Robert H. (Claudia) Gille, of Omaha, Nebraska, Janean S. (Jim) Linder, of Germany, and Joellen "Jody" (Jim) Katerakis, of Dublin, Ohio; thirteen grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren; a sister, Janet (Dale) Bury; numerous nieces and nephews.

Prayers will be offered at 10:30am Wednesday in the Zettler Funeral Home, 2646 Pleasant Ave. followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00am Wednesday at Sacred Heart Church, 400 Nilles Rd. Fairfield, Ohio with Fr. Larry Tharp as celebrant. Burial will be in Dayton Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5-7:00pm Tuesday and from 9:30-10:30am Wednesday in the funeral home.
