SCHUTTE, Elmer F., age 89 of Hamilton, died Saturday, Feb. 17, 2007 in Mercy Hospital of Fairfield. He was born on Feb. 12, 1918, in Hamilton, Oh, the son of Henry and Elizabeth (Lehmann) Schutte and was a 1936 Graduate of Hamilton Catholic High School. On April 7, 1945, in St. Ann Church, he married Annamarie Wagonrod. Mr. Schutte served in the US Army Aircorp, during WW II . He had worked as a printer for Hamilton Autographic Register, for 40 years and later as a fitter at Hamilton Tool, for six years, until retirement in 1982. He was a member of Sacred Heart Church.
Survivors include his wife, Annamarie (Wagonrod) Schutte; three children, Regina (Milan) Kucharik, Paula (James) Harrington, and Allen (Mary) Schutte; five grandchildren, Kirsten (Jordan) Robbins, Sgt. Matthew Kucharik, Pvt. David (Dinia) Sarkady, Patrick Harrington, and Jeffrey Schutte; two great grandchildren, Sonia Kucharik, and Winter Marie Sarkady; two brothers, Richard and Paul Schutte; two sisters, Evelyn Williams, and Agnes Enzweiler. He was preceded by a daughter, Donna Marie Schutte; two brothers, Bernard and Robert Schutte; three sisters, Helen Schutte, Sister Julie Marie SND, and Sister Mary Elizabeth SND.
Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10:00am Thursday in Sacred Heart Church, Fairfield. Visitation will be from 4-8PM Wednesday in Zettler Funeral Home, 2646 PleasantAve., with prayers at 4:00PM. Burial will be in Crownhill memorial gardens. Memorials are suggested to the American Cancer Society
