CORSON, Emma Ruth, age 99 of Searchlight, Nevada, died Wednesday May 22, 2013, in her home. She was born in Mt. Vernon Kentucky on May 24, 1913, the daughter of James and Sara (Boone) Rickels.

Survivors include four children, Clarence Corson Jr., Gloria McCright, Linda Penrod, and Patricia Francis; twelve grandchildren, Greg, Dave, Jenny, Ronnie, Chris, Billy, Angie, Ray, Anthony, Ruthie, Renee, and Patrick; nine great-grandchildren.

Besides her husband Clarence S. Corson, she was also preceded in death by a daughter, JoAnn Hogeback; a son, Ronald Corson; a grandson, Dickie Hogeback; three sisters, Anna, Martha, and Edna; four brothers, Clarence, Clyde, Raymond, and Lester.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 am Friday in the Zettler Funeral Home, 2646 Pleasant Ave. with Rev. Edwin R. Beck officiating, followed by burial in Rose Hill Burial Park.
