MILLER, Evelyn L., age 75 of Fairfield, died Thursday, March 29, 2007 in Hospice of Hamilton in Sunrise Assisted Living Center. She was born in Hamilton, Ohio on November 3, 1931, the daughter of Louis and Anna (Staarmann) Conrad and graduated from St. Ann grade school and Fairfield High school, with the class of 1949. On October 11, 1958, in St. Ann Church, she married William A. Miller. Mrs. Miller had worked in accounting for John Groth CPA and later Baker Concrete Construction Inc., retiring in 1997. A member of Sacred Heart Church, she also was a member of the K of C Fr. Roettele Council Auxiliary. Among her interests were crocheting, boating, traveling, camping, and card playing. She enjoyed cooking for others as well as spending time with her family and grandchildren.

Survivors include her husband, Bill; four children, Reyna (Glenn) Watson, of Grove City, OH, Greg Miller, of Fairfield, Connie (Tim) Riegert, of Liberty TWP, and Laurie (Eric) Johnston, of Fairfield TWP; seven grandchildren, Corry, Curtis, and Cayla Watson, Lindsay and Ryan Riegert, and Austin and Trevor Johnston; three brothers, Celestine (Betty) Conrad, Arnold Conrad, and Stanley (Bernice) Conrad; three sisters, Lorraine (Warren) Snodgrass, Sr. Yvonne Conrad OSF, and Alberta (Pete) Groh.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Prayers will be offered at 9:30 am Monday in the Zettler Funeral Home, 2646 Pleasant Ave., followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am Monday at Sacred Heart Church, Fairfield. Entombment will be in St. Stephen Mausoleum. Visitation will be from 2-5:00 pm Sunday in the funeral home.
