VOGT, Ferdinand J. Jr." Ferd", age 86, of Hamilton, died Thursday morning at Mercy Hospital of Fairfield. He was born in Hamilton, OH the son of Ferdinand J. and Stella (Bergedick) Vogt and was a 1937 graduate of Hamilton Catholic High School. On March 2, 1946, in St. John Church Middletown, OH, he married Ruth Hampel. Mr. Vogt served in the US Navy, during WWII. He was in sales and later a supervisor at Horn Lumber Co., for thirty-five years, retiring in 1982. A member of St. Ann Church, he also was a member of the VFW # 1069, and the American Legion # 138.
Survivors include his wife of sixty years, Ruth; four children, Barbara (John) Fiedler, of Cincinnati, Pamela (Mike) Pratt, of Cincinnati, Joseph (Carol) Vogt, of Fairfield, and Janice (Bill) Brown, of Cincinnati; eleven grandchildren; two great grandchildren; two sisters, Doris Schellenbach, and Virginia Devine.

He was preceded in death by two sisters, Martha Ketterer, and Patricia Becker; two brothers, Thomas Vogt and David Vogt.
Prayers will be offered at 10:00AM Tuesday in the Zettler Funeral Home, 2646 Pleasant Ave., followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30AM Tuesday in St. Ann Church. Visitation will be from 5:00PM to 7:00PM Monday in the funeral home. Entombment will be in St. Stephen Mausoleum. Memorials are suggested to the American Parkinson's Disease Assoc.
