RECHER, Florence age 94 a resident of Hamilton, Ohio passed away on Friday, March 21, 2014, at Fort Hamilton Hospital. She was born in Butler County, Ohio on July 31, 1919, the daughter of Cleveland C. and Mary (Harmon) Rupp. Florence attended schools in Butler County and was a 1937 graduate from Hamilton High School. On March 9, 1946, in Hamilton, she married Wilbur W. Recher and he preceded her in death in April of 1984. Mrs. Recher was employed at Mt. Healthy Hardware as the bookkeeper for 47 years retiring in 1997. She was a member of Sacred Heart Church.

Florence was devoted to her nieces and nephews and will be greatly missed by her nephew Clarence J. (Patti) Rupp; niece, Helen Ann Proffitt; great nephews, Timothy, Daniel (Karen), and Skeeter Rupp, and Robert C. Walter; great-great nieces and nephews, Le Anna, Amber, Joshua, and Jacob Rupp, and Brandon Walter; great-great-great nieces and nephews, Donovan, Lillian, Alivia, and Aubrey Rupp.

Besides her husband and parents, she was also preceded in death by a brother, Clarence J. Rupp; two sisters, Leona M. Rupp and Mrs. William B. (Helen) Finlay.

The family wishes to express thanks to the ICU and 5 ^th floor staff of Fort Hamilton Hospital for the kind and gentle care they provided to their Aunt Florence.

There will be no visitation. Funeral services will be private at the convenience of the family in the Zettler Funeral Home, 2646 Pleasant Ave. Entombment will be in Spring Grove Mausoleum.
