DADDABBO, Frank age 93 of Hamilton died Thursday, March 14, 2013, at Hospice of Hamilton. He was born in St. Michael, Italy on January 1, 1920, the son of Giuseppe and Catherine (Bianco) Daddabbo. On February 6, 1948, in Bari, Italy, he married Dorothy Spinelli. Mr. Daddabbo worked as a policeman in Guardia di Finanza for the Italian Government. After relocating to the United States, Frank worked for Milillo Bakery and Hamilton Tool before retirement. He was a member of St. Ann Church.
Survivors include his wife of 65 years, Dorothy; five children, Catherine Carlucci, Chiara McGuire, Dr. Anna (Paul Farina) Daddabbo, Anthony (Cindi) Daddabbo, and Frank (Ann Marie) Daddabbo; a daughter-in-law, Ruth Daddabbo; seventeen grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; a sister, Pasqua Daddabbo.
He was preceded in death by two sons, Gerard Daddabbo in infancy and Dr. Joseph Daddabbo; three brothers, Chester, Nicolo, and Angelo Daddabbo; a sister, Dominque Daddabbo.
Prayers will be offered at 10:00 am Tuesday in the Zettler Funeral Home, 2646 Pleasant Ave., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 am Tuesday in St. Ann Church with Fr. Larry Tharp celebrant. Entombment will be in St. Stephen Mausoleum. Visitation will be from 6-8:00 pm Monday in the funeral home.
