MARX, Frank J. age 88 of Hamilton passed away Friday July 27, 2018 at Westover Retirement Community. He was born in Evansville, Indiana the son of Frank J. and Venita Marx Sr. and was educated in Evansville parochial schools. On November 27, 1952 he married Patricia Crouch and they relocated in Hamilton, Ohio. Frank was employed in retail sales all of his working years, retiring in 1990. He was a member of St. Peter in Chains Catholic Church, and the Knights of Columbus.

Survivors include his wife, Patricia; a son, Jeffrey A. (Helen Wilcockson) Marx; three daughters, Dianne F. Marx, Lynne M. (James) O'Brien, and Jennifer A. (James T.) Cooper; eight grandchildren, Molly and Ellen O'Brien, Anne and MaryPat Globig, Catherine and John Marx, Jack and Charlie Cooper.

Frank was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Wanda L. Marx.

Prayers will be offered at 10:00am Tuesday in the Zettler Funeral Home, 2646 Pleasant Ave. followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30am Tuesday in St. Peter in Chains Church. Visitation will be from 9:00-10:0am Tuesday in the funeral home. Entombment will be in St. Stephen Mausoleum.
