DYER, Fred C. Jr., devoted husband of the late Mary Lee Dyer (nee LeClair); beloved father of Fred C. (Sharon) Dyer III, of St. Louis, MO, James Lee (Jamie) Dyer, of Port Allen, Louisiana, and John M. (Laura) Dyer, of Fairfield, OH; dear grandfather of Andy, Tanner, Stephanie, Nate, Megan (Brenden), Emily, and Dawson; brother of Colin (Dottie) Dyer of Columbus, OH and Bob (Mary Ellen) Dyer, of Prescott, AZ. Saturday July 4, 2009 age 87 in Mercy Hospital of Fairfield.

He was born in Indianapolis, IN on May 24, 1922 the son of Fred C. and Geraldine (Gibson) Dyer. He earned a B.S. in engineering from Purdue University had been an Eagle Scout in his youth. On December 24, 1955 in Cincinnati, OH he married Mary Lee LeClair and she preceded him in death on February 22, 2009. Mr. Dyer had worked for General Electric for 25+ years in Cincinnati, OH, Oakridge, TN, and Owensboro, KY. He later was Director of Operations at The Principia School in St. Louis, MO, for 20 years retiring in 2000.
