Obituary

HONEYCUTT, Fred R. age 76 of West Carrolton died Monday, August 2, 2010 at Kettering Memorial Hospital. He was born in Gastonia, North Carolina on February 14, 1934, the son of James F. and Jennell (Jones) Honeycutt and was a 1959 graduate with an Associate degree in Electrical Engineer Design from University of Cincinnati. Fred served in the United States Air Force during the Korean War Conflict. He was a contract worker for P&G, Ford, GE, Sherwin Williams, Appleton Paper, IBM, Champion, Honeywell, John Deer, Dow Chemical, and Newcor Inc. He was also a member of the American Legion Post # 0138, the VFW Post # 2800, and was an avid radio listener.

Survivors include his daughter Linda Singleton and her two daughters Alyssa and Rebecca Singleton; a son Bill Honeycutt and his son Alex Honeycutt; a son Jim (Carrie) Honeycutt and their two daughters, Megan and Houstyn Honeycutt; a brother, James F. (Virginia) Honeycutt Jr. and his three children Amy (Scott) Moore their children, Owen, Isabelle, and Evan Moore; Cindy (Greg) Hassler and their children, Paige, Kyla, and Mason Hassler; Steve Honeycutt; a sister, Sandra (Robert) Williams and their two children Jennifer and Matt Williams.

Besides his parents, he was also preceded in death by his wife, Rosemary on October 19, 2008.

Funeral services will be offered at 11:00 am Saturday, in the Zettler Funeral Home, 2646 Pleasant Ave. with Rev. Edwin R. Beck officiating, followed by burial in Millville Cemetery.
