BAILEY, Gene O. age 79 of Fairfield, Ohio passed away on Friday, November 7, 2014, at Tri-County Extended Care. He was born in Campton, Kentucky, on April 12, 1935, the son of William H. and Gaythel (Brown) Bailey. Mr. Bailey served as a submarine engineer for the United States Navy from 1952-1956. On October 31, 1972, in Cincinnati, Ohio, he married Sharon D. Holliday. Gene worked as a customer service manager for Smurfit Graphic Arts retiring in 1997.

Survivors include his wife, Sharon of Fairfield, Ohio; a daughter, Rachel Bailey of Hamilton, Ohio; a granddaughter, Fiona Salas; a brother, Bill Bailey of Middletown, Ohio.

Funeral Services will be held at 3:30PM Monday, in the Zettler Funeral Home, 2646 Pleasant Ave with Rev. Edwin R. Beck officiating. Visitation will be from 2:30-3:30PM Monday in the funeral home.
