MILES, Gene age 90 of Seven Mile, Ohio passed away Saturday January 20, 2018 at U. C. Medical Center of West Chester. He was born in Dayton, Ohio on September 4, 1927 the son of Victor and Anna (Crouch) Miles and served in the US Army during WWII. Gene had worked as a General Foreman at ARMCO Steel for forty years. He was a member of the Immanuel Baptist Church.

Survivors include his beloved life partner, Wanda Gruenschlaeger; four children, Diana (Mitchell) Krause, Kenny Miles, Renee (Damon) Kinney, and Jeff (Shannon) Miles; eighteen grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; one great great grandchild; his sister, Opal Downey; and other relatives, Nikki Hawk, Connie Frost, and Alan Gruenschlaeger.

Besides his parents Gene was also preceded in death by a daughter, Barbara Ann Terrell and a brother Bud Miles.

The family wishes to express their thanks to the staff of U. C. Medical Center West Chester ICU for the compassionate care they provided to Gene.

Funeral services will be held at 11:30am Tuesday in the Zettler Funeral Home, 2646 Pleasant Ave. followed by burial in Hickory Flat Cemetery.
