EICHHOLD, George R. age 49 of Fairfield died Thursday, April 21, 2011 at his home. He was born in Hamilton, Ohio on April 27, 1961, the son of John O. and Elaine (Beck) Eichhold, and was a 1980 graduate of Garfield High School. George worked as a photographer at Fernald for 15 years, and had worked at several positions in the printing industry. He attended St. Ann Church, was a member of the K of C Father Butler Council, and the National Brick Collectors Association.

Survivors include his two children, Elizabeth (Joe) Moran and Jacob Eichhold, both of Hamilton; his father, Jake Eichhold of Fairfield; he was looking forward to twin grandchildren in four months; his brothers and sisters, John Eichhold, Mary Lou (Mike) Sanders, Ann M. Rulon, Jean (Clyde) Carter, twin brother James (Becki) Eichhold; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Elaine in 2008; and his brother, Thomas Eichhold in 2009.

Prayers will be offered at 9:30am Tuesday in the Zettler Funeral Home, 2646 Pleasant Ave., followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00am Tuesday in St. Ann Church, with Fr. Stephen J. Mondiek celebrant. Burial will be in St. Stephen Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6-8:00pm Monday in the funeral home. Memorials are suggested to St. Ann Church.
