FLOWERS, George D. age 80 of Hamilton passed away Monday, April 24, 2017 at Fort Hamilton Hospital. He was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on July 5, 1936 the son of Hugh and Corrine (Gator) Flowers and was a 1954 graduate of St. Gabriel School in Glendale, Ohio. On May 25, 1957, he married Marjorie M. Denning and she preceded him in death on August 22, 2012. Mr. Flowers was a member of St. Peter in Chains Church and Partners in Prime.

Survivors include eleven children, Stephanie Flowers, Christopher (Janice) Flowers, Michele (Douglas) Vail, Greg Flowers, Alicia (Kevin) Conlin, Andrew (Pamela) Flowers, Jason (Kimberly) Flowers, Matthew (Heather) Flowers, Jeremy Flowers, Brian (Kerri Ann) Flowers, and Melissa (Rickey) Fella; twenty-five grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren.

Besides his wife, Marjorie, he was also preceded in death by a son, Jonathan Flowers in 1988; a grandson, Adam Vail in 2008.

Prayers will be offered at 9:30am Monday, May 1, 2017, in the Zettler Funeral Home, 2646 Pleasant Ave. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00am Monday in the St. Peter in Chains Church. Burial will be in Rose Hill Burial Park. Visitation will be from 5-7:00pm Sunday, April 30, 2017, in the funeral home.
