SPEARS, George S. age 84 of St. Clair Township, Ohio passed away Wednesday June 21, 2023. He was born in Hamilton, Ohio on December 22, 1938 the son of George "Pappy" and Edrie (Shreve) Spears. His wife Sue Gilmore Spears preceded him in death on February 1, 2011. George was a retired technician working for Cincinnati Bell Telephone Company for over 35 years.

Survivors include three children, Beth (Mike) Ramsey, Jeffrey (Cindy) Spears, Robert (Christine) Spears; seven grandchildren; Five great grandchildren; a brother, John Spears.

Besides his wife and parents, he was also preceded in death by a son, James Spears in 2001; two brothers, William Spears and Bill Gilmore; and a sister, Darlene Dasch.

Visitation will be from 10:00-11:00am Saturday June 24, 2023 in the Zettler Funeral Home, 2646 Pleasant Ave. Funeral services will be at 11:00am Saturday, in the funeral home, followed by burial in Arlington Memorial Gardens.
