Obituary

Gerald "Jerry" A. Glowka age 80 of Hamilton, OH passed away Wednesday April 8, 2026 at Mercy Hospital Anderson. He was born in Hamilton, Ohio on September 18, 1945 the son of John and Irma (Hoffmeyer) Glowka and was a 1963 graduate of Hamilton Catholic High School. On April 22, 1967, in St. Stephen Church, he married Ann K. Beeler. Jerry had a career in the US Army, serving for 20 years, retiring with the rank of Sergeant 1st Class. After service in the Army he worked as a Taxpayer Advocate for the IRS. He was a member of Queen of Peace Church and the Butler County Sportsman's Club.

Survivors include his wife, Ann; two children, Gerald A. (Tammy) Glowka and Katherine (Joe) Kelley; 6 grandchildren; a sister, Patt (Dave) Denton.

Besides his parents, he was also preceded in death by his brother, Thomas Glowka.

Prayers will be offered at 9:30am Thursday April 16, 2026 in the Zettler Funeral Home, 2646 Pleasant Ave. followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00am Thursday in Queen of Peace Church. Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00pm Wednesday April 15, 2026 in the funeral home. Burial will be in St. Stephen Cemetery with Military honors. Online register book at www.zettlerfuneralhome.com
