DUDLEY, Gerard "Short" Edward, age 70, passed away peacefully with his family surrounding him on Wednesday, October 12, 2022, at Ft. Hamilton Hospital. He was born in Hamilton, Ohio on September 6, 1952. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Edith (Keim) Dudley. He graduated from Badin High School in 1970. He worked hard all his life as a dairy farmer.  After he retired, he enjoyed spending time with his family, and visiting with his brother Art daily to discuss politics and help him with his farming. He also loved feeding and taking care of the barn cats and helping with the family garden in the summers.

He is survived by his two daughters, Rene' Dudley and Jennifer Dudley; his siblings: Gerald (Bernice) Dudley, Agnes (Jim) Reichert, Margaret (Richard) Smith, Art (Kathy) Dudley, Tom (Diane) Dudley,  Charlene Dudley, and best friends, Andy and Karen Dums. He is also survived by many other loving family and friends.

A private celebration of life will be held by the family at a later date.
