ROOF, Gladys Evelyn age 94 of Fairfield died Monday, July 25, 2011, at her home. She was born in Hamilton, Ohio on January 21, 1917, the daughter of Thomas and Martha (Laws) Warren, and was a 1935 graduate of Hamilton High School. On September 25, 1936, in St. Peter Church she married Kenneth C. Roof and he preceded her in death on December 4, 1974. Evelyn enjoyed traveling, the Reds, the Bengals, Car Racing, and especially enjoyed time spent with family.

Survivors include a son, Kenneth (Sharon) Roof; three daughters, Annette (Joseph) Pate, Barbara Holland, and Janean Gray; fourteen grandchildren; twenty-eight great-grandchildren.

Besides her husband, Kenneth, she was also preceded in death by a son, James Roof; a daughter, Joyce Hubbard; a grandson, Carey Hubbard; three sisters; three brothers.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 am Wednesday in the Zettler Funeral Home, 2646 Pleasant Ave. with Chaplain Jason Noel officiating, followed by burial in St. Stephen Cemetery.
