BRANTON (Yelton Deaton), Gloria Ann age 73 of Hamilton, passed from her earthly home on Monday, June 29, 2015. After months of illness, she celebrated her 73rd birthday at THE dinner with friends and family, making magical, spiritual memories, but did not rise again. She was unresponsive for a week, while surrounded by worship, prayers, and memories. Monday evening, loved ones circled her singing Precious Memories; she opened her left eye, one tear slid down, and then she took the Lord's hand and stepped onto streets of gold. Reunited in Heaven with her darling husband Doyle Branton; dear daughter Sheila; parents Roy & Nellie (Pigg) Yelton; brother Roy "Junior" Yelton; sister Wanda (Yelton) Stines; and Branton in-laws: Mack & Paulette, Jim (Thelma), Paul (Janice), and Gale Silver. She was born in Covington, Kentucky, raised in Hamilton, Ohio, and attended New Miami School. On July 6, 1958, at age 16 in Liberty, Indiana, she wed Doyle, who swept his darlin' off her feet to his Army post in Germany. He went to Heaven December 16, 2012, after 54 years as husband + wife. Gloria was a member of the Pentecostal Highway of Holiness Church and Victory Pentecostal Tabernacle. She was Mom to Michael Branton & Rhonda Webb; Mammaw to grandchildren Miranda (Ryan) Gabbard; Ashley, Alyssa, & Anthony Branton; Simeon Chandler; Haley & Brianna Webb; Mimi to great-grandchildren Ethan & Isabella Gabbard; Mammaw to Lyric, Dominic, Alexa & Jayda + Rylee Chandler; Auntie Gloria Ann to Karenetta (Gary) Grubb + Kala, Alexus, Nevaeh & Amiyah; Sister-in-Law+Love to Emogene Silver, Wayne (Norma) and Dean (Kay) Branton; Sister to Charles Yelton and Jerry Deaton; Best Friend; Beloved maker of corn, green beans, chicken+dumplins; Sunday School Teacher; Jokester; Dedicated upward face lotion applier; Blessing to Many. Her life was a story of love + family; a caring, Godly woman who impacted and spread His goodness to all she met.

Visitation will be at the Pentecostal Highway of Holiness Church, 3470 Hamilton Middletown Rd, Hamilton, OH 45011, on Doyle and Gloria's 57th anniversary: Monday, July 6 from 6-8pm. Gloria's Celebration of Life service is at the church Tuesday, July 7 at 11am with Revs. Donald Pierce, Nathan Morris, and Jerry Pascarella officiating. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Burial Park.
