BECKMAN, Gregory S. age 53 of Okeana, Ohio passed away Friday December 31, 2021, at Ft. Hamilton
Hospital. He was born in Hamilton, Ohio on March 16, 1968, the son of Donald Beckman and Pauline
Tucci. On May 21, 1994, he married Lucy Layton.
Greg was an amazing husband, dad, son, papaw, uncle and nephew. He loved his wife of 27 years and
his 3 daughters more than anything! He loved nothing more than just relaxing in his backyard with his
family. He loved camping, fishing, golfing and hunting. He worked very hard on building and growing his
successful Real Estate business in Hamilton. He had a heart of gold and he didn't know a stranger.
Survivors include his wife, Lucy; three children, Amanda (Eric) Tepper of Florence, Kentucky, Britt Roark
of Middletown, Ohio, and Kara (Nick) Smith of Cedar Grove, Indiana; his mother, Pauline (Mike) Koehler;
his father, Don (Marcie) Beckman; grandchildren, Harper Young and Kable Tepper; grandparents, Patrick
and Jo Anne Tucci; a brother, David Beckman; sisters, Paula and Kayla Beckman; other relatives and
many friends.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Don and Marian Beckman; father-in-law, John Layton;
Aunt and Uncle, Bob and Mary Ann Beckman; Aunt, Mary Beth Beckman; cousin, Daniel Tucci
Funeral services will be held at 10:00am Saturday January 8, 2022, in the Zettler Funeral Home 2646
Pleasant Ave., with Rev. Josh Sturgill officiating, followed by burial in Millville Cemetery. Visitation will
be from 5:00pm-8:00pm Friday January 7, 2022, in the funeral home. Memorials are suggested to
Parachute: Butler County CASA or YWCA Dove House.
