WELLS, Haley A. age 91 formerly of Maineville, Ohio died Sunday, June 20, 2010 in the Cottingham Retirement Community. She was born in Dry Hill, Kentucky on October 1, 1918 the daughter of Godfrey and Emily (Begley) Holliday. On June 12, 1936, she married John J. Wells in Manchester, Kentucky. He preceded her in death on June 1, 1994. Mrs. Wells had served as an L. P. N. at Mercy Hospital of Hamilton, the Elyria Methodist Home, and was a member of the Ohio Nurses Association of Columbus, Ohio. A member of the Wyatt's Chapel United Methodist Church in Dover, Tennessee, Haley also served as the President of the United Methodist Woman's group of the church.

Survivors include three children, Emily (Dr. Rudy) Moc, of Vermilion, Ohio, Midge (Aaron) Bateman, of Cincinnati, Ohio, John (Lorene) Wells, of Anderson, Indiana; thirteen grandchildren; twenty-one great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

Besides her husband she was also preceded in death by two sons, Eldon and Sidney Wells; seven brothers and sisters.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00pm Saturday in the Zettler Funeral Home, 2646 Pleasant Ave., with Rev. Steven Grieser officiating, followed by burial in Greenwood Cemetery.
