MUDD, Harold L. age 74 of Hamilton passed away Friday June 23, 2017 at the Atrium Medical Center, Middletown, Ohio. He was born in Georgetown, Kentucky on March 20, 1943 the son of James F. and Virginia (McFarland) Mudd. Harold served in the US Army during the Vietnam War. On July 10, 1971 in Lexington, Kentucky he married Phyllis J. Hofmann. Mr. Mudd was a Letter Carrier for the United States Postal Service retiring in 2004. A member of the Millville Ave Nazarene Church, he also served as an usher at the church. He was an avid U K Basketball Fan and enjoyed fishing, gardening and watching his grandchildren play sports.

Survivors include his wife, Phyllis, three children, Amy Boone (Mike Russ), Dayton, Ohio, Jason (Linda) Mudd, and Megan (Steve) Malone, both of Hamilton, Ohio; seven grandchildren, Ricky and Caleb Boone, Monica, Jayden and Olivia Mudd, Kyleigh and Colton Malone; four sisters and a brother.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00am Wednesday in the Zettler Funeral Home, 2646 Pleasant Ave., followed by burial in Millville Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5:00-9:00pm Tuesday in the funeral home. Online register book available at www.zettlerfuneralhome.com
