Harry J. Starkey, age 84 of Fairfield, Ohio passed away Sunday August 10, 2025 at his
home. He was born in Clearfield, Pennsylvania on June 6, 1941, the son of Lynn H. and
Nellie (Flegal) Starkey. On July 21, 1962, in Kenmore, New York he married Judith
Dawn Martz.
Harry took a big step and left his security job in 1972 from the Chevrolet plant in
Buffalo, NY to opening an ABC Mobile Brake Services franchise in Cincinnati, Ohio. He
then founded Cincinnati Caliper Exchange company which he ran until his retirement in
2000. During and after that time he was involved with being the FHS wrestling team
videographer from 1982 to 1990 as well as creating the senior sports plaques for the
Athletic Department for many years. Prior to and after retirement he enjoyed wood
working projects that were used for fundraising events and even his ornament was
selected to be on the State of Ohio Governor's Christmas Tree.
Survivors include his wife, Judi; two children, Shawn (Amy) Starkey and Michael
(Wendy) Starkey; three grandchildren, Rachel Starkey, Emma (Jack) O'Toole, and
Joshua Starkey.
In lieu of flowers, the family would ask that donation to Neurofit Gym where Harry
