BOKELMAN, Helen M. age 94 of Fairfield, Ohio passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 16, 2016, at St. Elizabeth Hospice. She was born in Hamilton, Ohio on February 23, 1921 the daughter of Peter and Anna (Lahutka) Boliske. In 1938 she married Arthur L. Bokelman and he preceded her in death in 1992. Helen was a retired nurse who worked for 20 years for a Fairfield group of gynecologists. Helen was active with a number of social groups including married ladies and her monthly card clubs. She as an avid reader and enjoyed regular visits to the local casino. She was a member of Sacred Heart Church in Fairfield.

Survived by her son, David (Deborah) Bokelman; four grandchildren, Dr. Jessica Bokelman, Lt. Zachary (Dr. Katie) Bokelman, Dr. Rachel and Matthew Bokelman; five great-grandchildren, Ashley, Noah, Lucy, Samuel, and Emily; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Funeral Service will be held at 10:00AM Saturday in the Zettler Funeral Home, 2646 Pleasant Ave, followed by burial in Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5-7:00PM Friday in the funeral home.
