GRACE, Helen (Pierson) age 96 a resident of Mt. Pleasant Retirement Village, died there Tuesday, May 17, 2011. She was born in Butler County, Ohio on October 27, 1914, the daughter of William and Barbara (Ries) Pierson. She was educated in the Seven Mile Schools. On October 6, 1956, at Zion Lutheran Church, she married William H. Grace, and he preceded her in death on May 25, 1997. Mrs. Grace was an Office Clerk for Champion Paper Company for twenty-seven years retiring in December of 1971. She was a member of the Zion Lutheran Church, a life member of the Greater Hamilton Women's Bowling Association, where she served as secretary for fifteen years and also director on the executive board for twelve years. Helen was also a member of the Ohio Women's Bowling Association and served as treasurer for sixteen years.

Survivors include her sister, Jane Pierson; two nephews, Thomas (Teresa) Pierson and David (Deborah) Pierson; great nephews and nieces, Adam Pierson, Faith Pierson-Elliott, Tonya (Stephen) Patt, and Christopher (Jennifer) Pierson; many great-great nieces and nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Besides her husband she was also preceded in death by three brothers, Walter, Raymond and Harold Pierson; and a sister, Eleanor Curl.

Funeral Services will be held Saturday at 11:00 am in the Mt. Pleasant Retirement Village Chapel, 225 Britton Lane Monroe, OH 45050, with Pastor Timothy Landers and Chaplin Karen Flemming officiating. Entombment will be in Rose Hill Mausoleum. Visitation will be from 10-11:00 am Saturday in the Chapel. Memorials may be made to the fund of the donor's choice at Zion Lutheran Church, 212 S. Front St., Hamilton, OH 45011.
