STEWART, Helen, L. age 86 of West Chester, OH, died Friday, December 29, 2006 at her home. She was born in Hamilton, OH, on August 5, 1920, the daughter of Lewis and Mary (Bannon) Gundler and was a 1938 graduate of Union Township High School. On March 30, 1940, in Covington, KY, she married Richard R. Stewart and he preceded her in death on October 7, 1997. She was a member of the Port Union Bible Chapel, where she held a variety of offices. She was a lifetime member of the West Chester-Union Township Historical Society. Survivors include four children, Richard (Jan) Stewart, of Hamilton, Karen Mann, Mary Jo (Ralph) Bicknell, and Debbie (Garry) McDaniel, all of West Chester, OH; thirteen grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren; a sister, Marietta Gilpin, of Sardinia, OH; a brother-in-law, Robert (Pat) Stewart.

Besides her husband, she was also preceded in death by a daughter, Patti Gibbs, in 2001; a son-in-law, Jerry Mann, on August 31, 1995; two brothers, Melvin and Richard Gundler; twin grand daughters, Christina and Brittany.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00AM Wednesday, Jan. 3, 2007, at the Zettler Funeral Home, 2646 Pleasant Ave., with Pastor Don Ruby officiating, followed by burial in Brookside Cemetery.
