PATER, Helen Dorothy Age 76 of Fairfield passed away Saturday April 23, 2016. She was born April 15, 1940 in Hamilton Ohio the daughter of the late John H and Anna (Steiner) Pater. Helen graduated in 1958 from Notre Dame High School in Hamilton and the college of Mount St. Joseph in Cincinnati, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in 1962. She was a Medical Technologist for 42 years and was employed at Hilltop Labs, Good Samaritan, Providence-Franciscan and Mercy Mt Airy hospitals in Cincinnati.

Survivors include her Sisters, Josephine (Pater) Andruszko, Ruth (Pater) Muench and Lillian Pater; twelve Nieces and Nephews and many Great Nieces and Nephews.
She was preceded in death by her Sister Marjorie and Brothers John A. and M. Bernard Pater and one Nephew.

Mass of Christian Burial will be offered Thursday May 5, 2016, at 6:30 pm at Sacred Heart Church, 400 Nilles Rd., Fairfield Ohio 45014. A Reception will immediately follow the liturgy at Fairfield Banquet & Convention Center at Tori's Station, 74 Donald Drive, Fairfield, OH 45014.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Helen D. Pater Memorial Scholarship fund of Badin High School, 571 New London Rd., Hamilton, Ohio 45013 or Shared Harvest Food Bank, 5901 Dixie Highway, Fairfield, Ohio 45014-4207, in Helen's Name
