STEWART, Helen "LaVerne" (Frazier) age 99 Hamilton passed away on Sunday, July 30, 2017, at home with her daughter by her side. She was born in Hamilton, Ohio on May 26, 1918, to John and Mary (Bruck) Frazier and was a 1936 graduate of Hamilton High School. On June 29, 1946, she married William A. Stewart, and he preceded her in death on April 14, 1990. Mrs. Stewart worked 12 years in the office for the State of Ohio Department of Highways and as a claims clerk at the Ohio Casualty Insurance Company for 18 years, retiring in June 1983. She was a lifelong member of the Zion Lutheran Church of Hamilton, Ohio. LaVerne will be remembered as a loving and caring wife, mother, and grandmother. She was a great cook and loved to bake, sew, and embroider.
She leaves to cherish her memory her loving and devoted daughter, Sandra Parker, who took care of her for many years of declining health when she would no longer care for herself. LaVerne and her daughter had a very special bond. She also leaves many nieces and nephews that were so dear to her heart. Each one was so special to her.
Besides her husband, William, she was also preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Lorain and Norman Frazier; a grandson, Mitchell Parker.

LaVerne will be greatly missed by all who loved and knew her.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00AM Friday at the Zion Lutheran Church, 212 S Front Street Hamilton, Ohio 45011, followed by burial in Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6-8:00PM Thursday in the Zettler Funeral Home, 2646 Pleasant Ave. and 10:30AM Friday at the Zion Lutheran Church.
