THARP, Helen F. age 93 of Hamilton died Wednesday, May 30, 2012, at Berkeley Square Retirement Community. She was born in Hamilton, Ohio on August 17, 1918, the daughter of Henry J. and Caroline (Theobald) Kollstedt, and was a 1936 graduate of Reily High School. On February 6, 1940, in Oxford, Ohio she married Joseph B. Tharp and he preceded her in death on June 16, 1986. Mrs. Tharp was a member of St. Peter in Chains Church.

Survivors include two children, Karol Ann Burdett of Madeira, and Richard (Mary) Tharp of Hamilton; five grandchildren, Doug Kaeding, Lisa Hughes, Monica Tharp, Angela Riffle, and Jennifer Marcum; thirteen great-grandchildren; and one great great grandchild many nieces and nephews.

Besides her husband, Joseph, she was also preceded in death by a grandson, David Kaeding; a brother, Paul Kollstedt; four sisters, Florence Kollstedt, Marcella Lewe, Elizabeth Kollstedt, and Mary Eschenbrenner.

The family wishes to express their thanks to the staff of Berkeley Square for the loving and family like care they provided.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 11:00 am Saturday in the St. Peter in Chains Church with Fr. Ronald Haft celebrant, followed by entombment in Rose Hill Burial Park Mausoleum.
