LIVESAY, Homer C. "Springdale Butch", age 61, died Saturday, Mar. 31, 2007, in Vitas Hospice in Ft. Hamilton Hospital. He was born in Berea, KY on February 21, 1946, the son of Homer J. and Lydia (Houk) Livesay. Mr. Livesay had worked as a rail unloader for E & L Transport, for 17 years.
Survivors include his wife Rayetta M. Livesay, of Hamilton; three children, Zola Reed, of Hamilton, Kandi Kelly, of Camden, and Wanda (Brian) McCoy, of Hamilton; 10 grandchildren; two sisters, Pearl (Amos) Burdette, and Ruth (Don) Bell; a brother, Joe (Tappy) Livesay; special brother-in-law, Garland (Oda) Vance; special sister-in-law, Lisa Phelps. He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters; two brothers.

Funeral services will be held at 2:30pm Thursday, in the New Beginnings Tabernacle, 2561 Ramona Ln., Hamilton, with Reverend's James Asher Jr. and Cherish Bowman officiating. Visitation will be from12:30-2:30 pm Thursday at church. Burial will be Friday in Maretburg Cemetery, Maretburg, KY. Zettler Funeral Home, Hamilton, serving the family.
