Obituary

Brosier, Hugh D. age 93 of Fairfield, died Friday October 1, 2010 in Hospice of Hamilton. He was born in Camden, Ohio on November 12, 1916 the son of Ray and Bertha (Geisler) Brosier. Hugh was a 1934 Graduate of Hamilton High School and attended the University of Cincinnati. On May 29, 1943 he married Gretchen L. Meister. He served in the US Navy during WWII. He had worked as a draftsman for the General Electric Evendale Plant, for thirteen years, retiring in 1979. A member of St. Joseph Church, he also was a life member of the K of C Father Butler Council and was a volunteer organist at the Hamilton Senior Citizens.

Survivors include his wife, Gretchen; Three daughters, Martha (David) Bach, of Hamilton, Claire Shockey of Dayton, OH, and Mary (Steve) Beckman, of Hamilton; eight grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren.

Prayers will be offered at 9:30am Wednesday in the Zettler Funeral Home, 2646 Pleasant Ave., followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00am Wednesday in St. Ann Church, with Fr. Stephen Mondiek celebrant. Visitation will be from 6-8:00pm Tuesday with K of C services at 7:30pm in the funeral home. Burial will be in Oxford Cemetery.
