SYLVESTER, Irma age 92 of Fairfield, Ohio passed away Thursday October 3, 2019 at her home. She was born in Hamilton, Ohio on October 12, 1926 the daughter of William and Clara (Fallert) Kollstedt. She was a 1944 graduate of Notre Dame High school and the Mercy Hospital School of Nursing. Mrs. Sylvester had worked as a Registered Nurse for General Electric. In 1956 in St. Petersburg, Florida, she married Edward L. Sylvester and he preceded her in death in 1974. Mrs. Sylvester was a member of Scared Heart Church.

She is survived by her son, William E. Sylvester; a sister, Margaret Martinkovac. Besides her husband Edward, she was also preceded in death by a sister, Dorothy Pfirrman and a brother, Bernard Kollstedt.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00am Monday in Sacred Heart Church 400 Nilles Rd. Fairfield, Ohio with Father Larry Tharp officiating. Visitation will be from 10:00-11:00am Monday in the church. Burial will be in St. Mary Cemetery. Zettler Funeral Home serving the family.
