Obituary

SULLIVAN, John E. "Jack" age 88 of Cincinnati died Saturday, December 5, 2009, at Mercy Hospital of Fairfield. He was born on July 1, 1921, the son of William and Jessie (McGee) Sullivan, and was a 1939 graduate of Hamilton Catholic High School. On August 17, 1993, in Covington, KY, he married Barbara Grawe. He was a retired Lt. Colonel serving as a pilot in the United States Air Force during WWII, the Korean War, and he was involved in the Berlin Air Lift.

Survivors include his wife, Barbara; seven children, Jon Sullivan, Terry (Debbie) Sullivan, Janice (Jim) Stangle, Cindy (Kenny) Bray, Wanda (Bill) Schoenfeld, April (Paul) Rentenbrink, and Denna (Ed) Reckers; eighteen grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren; a brother, Bill (Libby) Sullivan.

Private memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family. Memorial donations may be made to the Cincinnati Association for the Blind 2045 Gilbert Ave. Cincinnati, Ohio 45206. Zettler Funeral Home serving the family. Online register book available at www.zettlerfuneralhome.com
