EGGLETON, Jack age 78 of Fairfield, died Monday, July 26, 2010. He was born in Hamilton, Ohio on September 5, 1931, the son of John and Myrtle (Haggerty) Eggleton. On January 6, 1951, he married Leah Rebecca Levenson. Jack worked for IBEW Local # 648 for over forty years, retiring in 1993. He was a member of St. Mark United Methodist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Becky; six children, Mike (Linda) Eggleton, Steve Eggleton, Mary (Wayne) Johnson, Rick Eggleton, Lisa (Bill) Hildebrand, and Sue Wilson; eight grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be offered at 10:00 am Thursday, in the Zettler Funeral Home, 2646 Pleasant Ave. with Rev. Gary Wheeler officiating, followed by burial in Rose Hill Burial Park. Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00pm Wednesday with IBEW Local services at 7:00pm in the funeral home. The family suggests memorials to Glen Meadows Nursing Home or Dynasty Hospice.
