GRIFFIN, Jack C. age 87 of Hamilton passed away on Saturday, August 6, 2016, at his home. He was born in Water Valley, Mississippi on August 30, 1928. In January of 1969, in Akron, Ohio he married Karen Straka and she preceded him in death on June 10, 2008. Mr. Griffin was a veteran of the United States Air Force and the Navy having served during WWII. He was a truck driver for P.I.E./Ryder and retired after 45 years of service.

Survivors include two daughters, Kimberly Hitt and Johnna Stone; a grandson, Jack Stone; and Robin Mueller, who was like a daughter to him; special loving friends of the family, David Taylor, Leeann Taylor, and Tyler Moore.

Besides his wife, Karen, he was also preceded in death by a son, Edward Griffin on January 3, 2013.

Funeral services will be held at 7:00PM Thursday in the Zettler Funeral, 2646 Pleasant Ave. with Rev. Edwin R. Beck officiating. Visitation will be from 6-7:00PM Thursday in the funeral home. Online register book at www.zettlerfuneralhome.com
