BLANTON, James Edward age 46 of Hamilton, Ohio passed away Wednesday June 8, 2022 at Good Samaritan Hospital. He was born in Hamilton, Ohio on November 21, 1975 the son of Robert R. and Barbara A. (Rimer) Blanton. James was an outdoorsman and enjoyed deer hunting, fishing, kayaking and camping. One of his life's greatest pleasures was family time spent with his children, grandchildren, his mother and his fiancée Rachel Anderson.

Survivors include his fiancée Rachel; mother, Barbara Blanton; five children, Christani Blanton, Troy Anderson, Kye Anderson, Gerald  Cresswell and Brittany Cresswell; twelve grandchildren, Chase, Lauren, Troy Jr., Jax, Levi, Olivia, Jaqueline, Remington, Zachariah, Hunter, Sawyer and Leslie; two brothers, Robert J. Blanton and Michael A. Blanton; a sister, Christina Guthrie; several nieces and nephews, other relatives and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his father Robert on September 12, 1998.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00pm Tuesday June 14, 2022 in the Zettler Funeral Home, 2646 Pleasant Ave. followed by burial in Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1:00-2:00pm Tuesday in the funeral home.
