CASEY, James M. age 91 of Hamilton, Ohio passed away Sunday January 15, 2017 at his home. He was born in Falmouth, Kentucky on October 27, 1925 the son of George Dewey and Edna (Rankin) Casey. He married Mary E. Dickersheid on April 21, 1951 in Hamilton, Ohio. Jim worked construction for over forty-five years. He loved his family, roller skating, late model racing and tinkering with toys.

Survivors include his wife of sixty-five years, Mary Casey; eight children, James R. (Marilyn) Casey, Terrance (Teresa) Casey, Kenneth (Gina) Casey, Patricia (Greg) Baker, Thomas (Kim) Casey, Raymond (Fiora) Casey, Judith (Stephen) Jones, Charles (Claudette) Casey; a brother, Donald (Delores) Casey; he leaves many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by a son, David Casey; a sister, Alice Laven; two brothers, George and Ernest Casey.

Funeral services will be held at 2PM Thursday in the Zettler Funeral Home 2646 Pleasant Ave. with Pastor Keith Risner officiating followed by burial in Butler County Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 12:30pm-2:00pm Thursday in the funeral home. Memorial donations may be made to Animal Friends Humane Society. There will be a gathering for family and friends at Edgewood Baptist Church, 1010 West States St. Trenton , Ohio. following the committal service at cemetery.
