HENDRIX, James E. age 76 of Hamilton died Friday, March 25, 2011, at Butler County Care Facility. He was born in London, Kentucky on March 10, 1936, the son of Corsie and Myrtle (Yaden) Hendrix. On January 16, 1958 in Hamilton, he married Leona Black. Mr. Hendrix was a veteran of the U.S. Navy. He worked as an assembler at Mosler Safe Company.

Survivors include his wife, Leona; three daughters, Pamela (Jack) Hibbard of Fairfield, Charlotte Hendrix, and Betty Hendrix both of Hamilton; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; a brother, Harry Joe Hendrix; two sisters, Lucy Mae Herringa and Louise Wilson.

He was preceded in death by a son, James E. Hendrix Jr.; two grandchildren, Bobbi and Joshua Hurley.

Graveside Services will be held at 2:00 pm Monday at Butler County Memorial Park. Zettler Funeral Home is serving the family.
