HEROLD, James E. age 91 of Hamilton passed away on Sunday, May 13, 2018, at Hospice of Hamilton. He was born in Hamilton, Ohio on March 14, 1927, the son of Carl and Irma (Getz) Herold and was a veteran of the United States Marines having served during WWII. On May 9, 1948, in Hamilton he married Martha Zitsos and she preceded him in death on February 15, 2018. Mr. Herold was a life member of the 1 ^st St. John United Church of Christ. Jim was a retired District Sales Manager for Reynolds Metals Cincinnati and Columbus area.

Survivors include a brother, Jacque Herold; two sisters, Marjorie (Ted) Hershner and Geri Meyers; special cousin, June Pierce; many nieces and nephews; the Poulemanos family.

Besides his wife, Martha, he was also preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Thomas and Robert Herold; two sisters, Audri Hilsmier and Irma Justice.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00am Friday in the Zettler Funeral Home, 2646 Pleasant Ave. followed by burial in Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10-11:00am Friday in the funeral home. Memorial donations may be made to Hospice of Hamilton, 1010 Eaton Rd.
