MEINHARDT, James Richard of Camden, Ohio passed away Tuesday evening January 9, 2024 at home. He was born in Hamilton, Ohio on August 21,1939 the son of Richard and Clara B (Lindsey) Meinhardt.  On June 6, 1959 in Hamilton, Ohio he married Angela L. Stitzel. They lived happily together for 63 years until Angela's death in 2022.

He proudly served his country in the Navy on the USS Midway.

James and Angela moved to Camden, Ohio in 1973 where they opened Camden Auto Parts store, and worked together for many years. Later he took a position at Force Control Industries from where he retired.

For many years Jim enjoyed fishing trips to Canada with family and friends.

Survivors include his three children, James K. (Paula) Meinhardt, Dawn (Robert) Carter, and Tammy Charles; seven grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren; and a brother, Fred (Linda) Meinhardt.

Besides his parents, he was also preceded in death by two sisters, Mary Stang and Betty Johnson.

Funeral services will be private at the convenience of the family.
