MERGY, James S. age 48 of Fairfield died Thursday, June 9, 2011, at Hospice of Hamilton. He was born in Hamilton on June 15, 1962, the son of Jerome C. and Mildred L. (Conrad) Mergy, and was a 1980 graduate of Stephen T. Badin High School. Jim worked as lead veneer grader for M. Böhlke Veneer Corporation. He was a member of the Eagles Lodge # 407 and Moose Lodge # 36.

Survivors include his mother, Millie; five sisters, Linda (Randy) Becker, Lisa (Ron) Scorpio, Renee (Alan) Davis, Connie (Boyce) Yeager, and Donna (Tom) Boileau; eleven nieces and nephews, Katie, Zach, Audrey, and Clay Becker, Shelley (Jason) Mann, Brian (Amy) Davis and Ben Davis, Trisha (Mike) Winland, Justin Yeager, Jon and Marc Boileau; two great-nieces, Scarlett Mann and Camille Davis.

He was preceded in death by his father, Jerry in 1987.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 10:00am Tuesday in Sacred Heart Church, 400 Nilles Rd., with Fr. Larry Tharp celebrant, followed by burial in St. Stephen Cemetery.
