Obituary

RICCI, James A. age 88 of Hamilton, died Wednesday, November 14, 2007 in Alterra Sterling House, Springdale, Ohio. He was born in Chicago, Illinois on June 26, 1919, the son of Amillo and Carmela (Bunaguro) Ricci. On August 15, 1944 in Rossville, Georgia he married Frances J. Holden and she preceded him in death on September 2, 2006. Mr. Ricci served in the US Army during WWII. He had worked as a bookkeeper for Roth U. Bertch and later Hamilton Excavators, retiring in 1984. A member of St. Ann Church he also had been an avid bowler, being one of the first bowlers inducted into the Greater Hamilton Bowlers Hall of Fame.

Survivors include two daughters, Jane Hale, of Hamilton, and Teresa (Donnie) Fields, of Galveston, Indiana; three grandchildren, Nikki Ervin, Stacey Endres, and Rob Fields; two great grandchildren, Shelby and Cody Ervin.

He was also preceded in death by two sons, Donald and Ronald Ricci.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00am Friday in the Zettler Funeral Home, 2646 Pleasant Ave., with Fr. Stephen Mondiek of St. Ann Church officiating. Burial will be in Rose Hill Burial Park. Visitation will be from 10-11:00am Friday in the funeral home. Memorials are suggested to Hospice of Hamilton, 896 N. W. Washington Blvd. Hamilton 45013.
