ROWLETTE, James D. age 70 of Hamilton, died Wednesday, March 3, 2010 in Mercy Hospital of Fairfield. He was born in Travelers Rest, Kentucky on August 17, 1939 the son of Swift and Bess (Wilson) Rowlette and was a 1957 graduate of Fairfield High School. On April 28, 1962 in Hamilton, he married Lois Jean Rice. Mr. Rowlette had worked as a deliveryman for the Hamilton Journal News, for forty years, retiring in 2008.

Survivors include his wife, Lois Jean; his mother, Bess Kramer; two children, Doug Rowlette, of Hamilton and Melissa Radley, of Cincinnati; five grandchildren, Bradley, Eric, Sarah, Casey, and Emily; two great grandchildren, Skye and Grace; two brothers, Larry and Ron Rowlette; two sisters, Charlene Rice and Bonnie Cruthers.

He was preceded in death by his father and his step father, Raymond Kramer.

Funeral services will be held at 11:30am Monday in the Zettler Funeral Home, 2646 Pleasant Ave., followed by burial in Millville Cemetery.
