BEER, Jane L. age 89, of Hamilton, died Monday, September 10, 2007 in Mercy Franciscan at Schroder. She was born in Hamilton, OH on April 9, 1918, the daughter of Alfred and Eleonore (Buelter) Connaughton and was a 1936 graduate of Notre Dame High School. On April 12, 1958 in St. Stephen Church, she married Frank J. Beer and he preceded her in death on October 11, 1994. She had worked as a secretary for twenty five years, at the Western States Machine Co. A life member of St. Stephen and St. Julie Billiart Parishes, the altar Rosary society, she also was a member of the Secular Franciscan Order.

Survivors include one cousin, James Bauer of Mason, Ohio; dear friends, Joan and Richard Beer, Beulah Connaughton, Jerry and Pat Gordon, and Jerry and Jane Wood; as well as many other dear friends and neighbors.

Besides her husband; she was also preceded in death by her father in 1954, her mother in 1959, a brother, Robert Connaughton in 1981, and a dear friend Jovita McClellan.

Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11:00am Thursday in St. Julie Billiart Church, followed by burial in St. Stephen Cemetery. Visitation will be from 8:30-9:30am Thursday in Schroder Manor Chapel and from 10-11:00am Thursday in St. Julie Billiart Church. Memorials are suggested to St. Julie Billiart church, the Franciscan Missionary Union, 1615 Vine St. Cinn., OH or a charity of donor's choice.
