JEWELL, Jean C. formerly of Benninghofen Ave. in Hamilton, Ohio passed away on Thursday, October 6, 2016, at the Whitewater Commons Senior Living Center in Liberty, Indiana at the age of 79. Jean had resided at the Elm St. Group Home in Seymour, Indiana for 25 years. Jean was born to Lewis W. and Helen (Rochelle) Jewell on April 14, 1937. Her parents preceded her in death, as well as her brother, Jack, her grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins. She leaves to cherish her memory her boyfriend, Ralph, other housemate, Charlotte, Faith, Fay, Rosie, Joe, Earl, and Phil; her caregivers Brenda, Angie, Allen, Tyler, Kayla, Diane, Debbie, and Ann; special cousins, Betty Jewell Seibert and Jane Jewell-Menke, along with other cousins and her beloved cat Oreo.

The family would like to thank Elm St. for their extraordinary care of and love for Jean over the years and Whitewater Commons for their excellent care and compassion for Jean the 36 days she was there. She as a very special lady and will be missed by all who knew her.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00PM Tuesday in the Zettler Funeral Home, 2646 Pleasant Ave., with Rev. Edwin Beck officiating, followed by burial in Rose Hill Burial Park. Visitation will be from 1-2:00PM Tuesday in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Jean's memory may be sent to Brenda Wade, 631 N.
