SCHICK, Jean E., age 86 of Fairfield, Ohio passed away Saturday, January 9, 2016 at her home. She was born in Hamilton, Ohio on October 13, 1929, the daughter of Mark and Elsie (Liddil) Brown; and she was a graduate of the Miami University School of Nursing. On August 26, 1948 in St. Veronica Church, she married Ernest D. Schick; and he preceded her in death on December 19, 2005. Mrs. Schick had worked as a Registered Nurse for the office of Doctors' James Reboulet and Allen Kuhn for twenty years, retiring in 2001. Jean was a member of Sacred Heart Church.


Survivors include two daughters: Linda (Dr. Jim) Reboulet of Hamilton and Anne K. Schick of Fairfield; two grandchildren: James C. Reboulet and Rachel A. Reboulet; two sisters: Mary Berlinghoff and Rachel Best; and one brother, David Brown.


Besides her husband and her parents, she was also preceded in death by a sister, Doris Helsinger, and two brothers: Mark "Sonny" Brown and John Brown.


The family wishes to express their thanks for the care and support provided by her beloved nephew, Rick Helsinger, and Hospice of Hamilton.


Prayers will be offered at 9:30 A.M. Friday in the Zettler Funeral Home, 2646 Pleasant Ave., followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 A.M. Friday in Sacred Heart Church with Fr. Larry Tharp as celebrant. Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00 P.M. Thursday in the funeral home. Memorials are suggested to Sacred Heart Church or to St. Jude Hospital.
