STRODE, Jean Ann (Spaulding) age 84 a lifetime resident of Hamilton and Fairfield, Ohio died Sunday, April 10, 2016, at Berkley Square Retirement Community. She was born in Hamilton, Ohio on March 3, 1932, the daughter of Clarence and Dorothy (Spangenbarger) Spaulding and was a 1950 graduate of Hamilton High School. On August 27, 1954, in Hamilton she married Richard H. Strode. Jean was a member of St. Mark United Methodist Church. She was a loyal and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. Jean will be dearly missed by all those who knew her.

Survivors include her husband, Richard; two sons, Dave (Leslie) Strode of Greeley, Colorado and Mark (Jill) Strode of Austin, Texas; eight grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; a brother, William Spaulding.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Robert and Richard Spaulding.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00AM Friday in the Zettler Funeral Home, 2646 Pleasant Ave. with Pastor Tammy Jo Reiser officiating. Burial will be in Rose Hill Burial Park. Visitation will be from 9:30-11:00AM Friday in the funeral home.
