Jerry Lee Dooley, age 87 died peacefully at home on November 21, 2024
Jerry is survived by his wife Wanda (nee Crabtree), children Vernon (Kerstin) Sizemore, Johnny (Kim)
Sizemore and Trina Blanco, grandchildren Christopher Sizemore, Lina Sizemore, Christopher (Amanda)
Andler, Amanda (Brandon) McNeil and great grandchildren Aiden, Paislee and Liam, nephew Greg (Angela)
Dooley, Tim Dooley, great nephew Robert, sister-in-law Jewel (James) Dooley, many great nieces and great
nephews, and many great-great nieces and nephews.
Jerry was preceded in death by his parents Raymond and Gladys (Amyx) Dooley, brother Paul Dooley, brother
James Dooley, niece Vickie Dooley, nephew Paul Dwayne Dooley.
Jerry was born and raised in Lockland, Ohio. He attended Lockland high school and played all the sports in
high school. He and Wanda met in 1977 and married on October 11, 1978 and moved into a home in Forest
Park where they raised their children. He was a bus driver for Queen City Metro for more than 30 years. He was
caring, loving, funny, and never met a stranger kind of guy. He made many friends throughout his lifetime from
school and work and continued to have those friendships through his life. He will forever be missed by anyone
who knew him.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00pm Wednesday November 27, 2024 in the Zettler Funeral Home 2646 Pleasant Ave. followed by burial in Butler County Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 11:00am-1:00pm Wednesday in the funeral home, prior to the funeral service.
