KELLER, Joan  Lasseigne, passed away at home on March 28, 2021.  She went peacefully, surrounded by family, after 85 years of courage and grace. One of the last generation of Old New Orleans, she brought her culture and dignity everywhere she went.

She is now joined with her beloved husband, John Edwin Keller.

She was born and raised in New Orleans Louisiana by Claude and Marie Lasseigne with her sisters June Prados and Claudette Gregg.

Joan raised 4 children, Krystie, Karyn, Kevin and Kendra.  She had loving and devoted grandchildren, Jody, Jesse, (D 2007), Hannah, Jared, John, Nicole, Brandon, Kraig, Gabrielle, Zoë and Sidonie.  She was blessed with  loving great grand children: Juliet, Gerard, Evelyn, Jolene, Hannah, Adam, Tarryn, Lillian and Jensen.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM Tuesday in the Zettler Funeral Home, 2646 Pleasant Ave. Visitation will be from 2:00-300 PM Tuesday in the funeral home. Online register book and more comprehensive obituary available at www.zettlerfuneralhome.com
