Joann Walsh's Obituary
WALSH, JoAnn age 69 of Hamilton passed away peacefully at home among loved ones on Thursday, March 24, 2016, after a brief illness. JoAnn was born in Hamilton, Ohio on December 26, 1946, the firstborn child of Harold C. and Regina (Sprandel) Browning.
A lifelong resident of Hamilton, Ohio, JoAnn attended St. Ann grade school and Notre Dame High School graduating from Garfield High School. After attending The University of Cincinnati, she worked at various jobs in banking and business, and as a development officer with the Children's Home Association of Butler County.
Anyone who knew JoAnn benefitted from her sense of humor and wit, and if lucky, her love and skills involved in producing lavish holiday meals. JoAnn and Phil took pride and pleasure in making a beautiful, comfortable home for her family and friends.
She loved traveling with Phil, reading in her comfy chair, and spending her time and energy with her grandchildren. Her love for them was not a strong enough word. The world is a much better place for her living in it, and a much lesser place for her leaving it.
JoAnn leaves behind to cherish her memory her loving father Harold (Ramona) Browning; her beloved companion of twenty-five years Phil Luff; daughters, Kelly Walsh (Steve Sorg) and her children Corinne and Henry, Erin (Bob) Robinson and their children, Andrew (Lindsay), George and Natalie; Phil's son Ethan (Kori) Luff and child Noah and daughter Jesse (Clint) Conner and their children, Gretchen, Dean, and Robbie, brothers Patrick Browning (Beth Munafo) and his children, Pat Browning and Rob Isaacs, Michael Browning (Victoria Amundson) and child Nick; and many friends.
Friends are invited to attend a Catholic Funeral Liturgy at 10:00am Wednesday in St. Julie Billiart Church. Visitation will be Tuesday from 5:00-8:00PM in the Zettler Funeral Home , 2646 Pleasant Ave. Burial will be in St. Stephen Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to www.pulminaryfibrosisfoundation.org Online register book is available at www.zettlerfuneralhome.com
